DETERMINANTS OF TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY ACROSS PHILIPPINE MANUFACTURING FIRMS: A SIMULTANEOUS QUANTILE REGRESSION ANALYSIS

Numerous studies found mixed evidence on the effects of firm-related factors toward conditional distribution TFP performance done in a cross-country, industry, and firm-level perspectives abroad. Unfortunately, there is still relatively little to support these findings context Philippines. Thus, this study analyzed whether varies according size firms, forms ownership, examined impact such as firm size, form R&D intensity, capital export intensity manufacturing firms’ performance. The utilized comprehensive data gathered from World Bank Enterprise Survey conducted 2015 across selected firms Philippines, incorporated ordinary least squares regression simultaneous quantile models estimation analyses. Empirical revealed that marginally while solely focus domestic operations supported by outlays with less engagement activities. Lastly, ownership were have statistically significant observed all quantiles.
